Pakistan, New Zealand clash in fourth T20I tonight

Pakistan and New Zealand will cross swords in the fourth T20I of the five-match series at Rawalpindi cricket stadium at 9:00 PM tonight, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Pakistan lead the series 2-1 by steamrolling New Zealand in the first two matches.

In the first match, pacer Harris Rauf bowled New Zealand away with a career-best T20I spell, leading Pakistan to an 88-run victory.

In the second match, skipper Babar Azam’s unbeaten century powered Pakistan to a 38-run win over New Zealand.

In the third match, however, Iftikhar Ahmed’s 60 off 24 balls went in vain as New Zealand edged Pakistan out by four runs.

In tonight’s match, either Pakistan will seize the five-match series by taking a 3-1 lead or New Zealand will be able to turn a 2-1 deficit into a well-earned 2-2 draw.

If this happens, the final will be played between the two teams in Rawalpindi on April 24, 2023.
