PPP awards tickets to candidates for Punjab Polls

Pakistan People's Party issued party tickets for Punjab Assembly general elections to its candidates on Thursday.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, after getting the party tickets candidates started submitting the tickets to the returning officers.

Candidates from Multan

In Multan, Syed Ali Haider Gilani from PP 211 submitted the ticket to the Returning Officer while Malik Rizwan Hans submitted the ticket from PP 214 and From PP 215, Sardar Farhan Dreshk submitted the ticket to the Returning Officer.

PPP gives ticket to Patafi from Muzaffargarh

PPP South Punjab region Kasim Gilani in a tweet said PTI leader Alamdar Qureshi has joined the Bilawal Bhutto Zardari team as PTI Chairman Imran Khan did not award him a Punjab election ticket from PP 273 Muzaffargarh.

The channel report said that Imran Khan has give a part ticket to Iqbal Patafi from PP-273 Muzaffargarh so Alamdar Qureshi left the PTI and joined PPP.

Gujranwala and Wazirabad candidates

PPP awarded party tickets to its candidates from all 14 seats of the provincial assembly in Gujranwala on Thursday night.

According to the report, Ch Ejaz Sama from PP-51, Syed Shehbaz Sharif Bukhari from PP-52, Tahir Cheema PP 53, Ch Imtiaz Safdar Warriach PP 54, Rana Shabbir Haider PP 55, Imtiaz Chaudhry PP 56, Saith Asghar PP 57, Haris Miraan PP 58, Ch Arshad Ullah Sindhu PP 59, Khalid Hussain Bajwa PP 60,  Shariz Ishaq Arain PP 61, Ashfaq Bajwa PP 62, Farooq Malik PP 63 and Mian Wadood Hasan Dar PP 64
