Whether one calls it anti-state activity or a publicity stunt on the part of some elements, the authorities have traced more social media accounts which were used to spread ‘disinformation’ about Pakistan Army and its Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

A man named Engineer Naveed had claimed through his twitter account a few days ago that the army chief had attended a gathering at Pakistan’s High Commission in London on August 14, 2022, on the eve of the country’s 75th Independence Day. But the news was not true. 

And the video that was uploaded was not of the event at Pakistan’s high commission but was of the function General Bajwa had attended during his visit to Ukraine in May 2021.
