Finally, the ban on the transfer of teachers in Punjab has been lifted, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to report, it is mandatory to give seniority number to apply for transfer and teachers without seniority number will not be able to apply online.

Women teachers are forced to visit the offices of the authorities to obtain seniority number and they demanded to remove the condition of seniority number for applying.

Teachers must spend at least three years in their school to apply and teachers with less than three years will not be able to apply for transfer.

According to sources, teachers are facing difficulties in submitting applications due to link of online app being down.

The teachers have demanded the provincial education minister to solve all the problems immediately.
