Six more Adiala Jail staffers arrested for facilitating Imran Khan

The security agencies have arrested six more Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi employees for providing facilities to former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan against the jail manual and passing on his messages to his wife Bushra Bibi and others, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.   

Sources told 24News TV channel that those arrested also included two lady wardens.

Elaborating further, they said that besides these two women, sweepers and those monitoring the situation through cameras were also taken into custody and their cellphones had been confiscated.

Fresh arrests had been made on the information provided by Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Akram, Assistant Superintendents Bilal and Nazim Shah during interrogation, sources disclosed.  

Since August 14, 13 jail staffers have been taken into custody for questioning in connection with facilitating the former prime minister.
