Hot Egyptian TikToker Yasmin turns out to be a boy
TikTok users were left stunned as the true identity of the popular Egyptian TikToker ‘Yasmin’ was unveiled.
According to the Arab media, the police got involved after multiple complaints were filed at a police station about the TikToker’s inappropriate dance videos. ‘Yasmin’ was summoned to the police station for further investigation.
Probing the case, it was revealed that the famous TikTok character ‘Yasmin’ was nothing but a fake persona and it was actually an 18-year-old boy named Abdul Rahman behind it.
Rahman admitted that he created this account only to increase followers and earn money.
After his arrest, he was placed on a four-day remand by the court initially and was later released on bail of 5,000 Egyptian pounds (about $105).
Reportedly, Abdul Rahman, lives with his divorced mother in a village. His neighbors described him as a quiet and ordinary student at the Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management. One neighbor expressing disbelief said, "We are in shock. What we saw as a normal young boy was fooling the world by becoming a girl."

An Interior Ministry spokesman shared with the media that Abdul Rahman has been charged with impersonating a woman and publishing immoral content.
This case came to light as Egyptian authorities initiate a crackdown against immoral content on social media.
In the recent years, several female TikTokers have been arrested for posting lewd dances or explicit content while some have even been sentenced to prison.
