Pakistan, Japan agree to boost mutual cooperation in various sectors

Pakistan and Japan agreed to increase mutual cooperation in all sectors including trade and investment, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

During her visit to Japan, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif met with Senior State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, Mayaji Takuma.

The meeting was held at the Japanese Foreign Office, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed her best wishes for the leadership and people of Japan.

Mayaji Takuma warmly welcomed Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and her delegation.

Mayaji Takuma congratulated Maryam Nawaz Sharif on becoming the first female Chief Minister.

Welcome you as the first female Chief Minister to pay an official visit to Japan, Mayaji Takuma expressed her feelings of goodwill for Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

Mayaji Takuma said for the first time in 30 years, the visit of a Pakistani personality of your stature to Japan is welcome, 

Mayaji Takuma said that the launch of more than 120 projects in Punjab is commendable. 

We always attach importance to Pakistan as a friendly country, Mayaji Takuma said.

Mayaji Takuma expressed regret and sympathy over the loss of lives in floods in Pakistan, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said we will benefit from Japan's experiences to combat earthquakes, floods and natural disasters. 

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said Japan has become a cradle of economic, technological and social development.

Respect for human values along with material development is worthy of imitation, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said 

I want to implement Japan's development model in Punjab, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said.

She said Japan and Pakistan are friends who have been tested in difficult times. 

Thanks to Japan for supporting us in difficult times, Chief Minister said. 

Maryam Nawaz said Japan is an example of progress and technology in the world.

Japan's social traditions and moral values are impressive, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said. 

She said Japan's help in the devastating earthquake in Pakistan is unforgettable.

We want to benefit from Japan's earthquake-resistant construction technology, said Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. 

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif informed about her government's policy regarding facilities and incentives for investors.

Senior State Minister for External Affairs Mayaji Takuma thanked the Punjab Chief Minister for his visit to Japan.
