Sobia Warraich turns life’s darkest chapters into art and light

Sobia Warraich, known artistically as Sobi, is a Canadian-Pakistani artist, former athlete, and storyteller whose life reflects resilience, motherhood, and unwavering faith. A proud alumna of Beaconhouse School System, Kinnaird College for Women, and Lahore School of Economics, she moved to Canada in 2004, where she built a life as a single mother while courageously navigating a long and ongoing battle with breast cancer since 2014, including a Stage 4 metastatic diagnosis in 2024.

From a young age, Sobia was drawn to color, texture, and the quiet magic of painting. Art was never just a hobby for her . it was a language, a way of feeling and understanding the world when words were not enough. She has always been deeply inspired by colors, describing them as something alive, each carrying its own emotion, energy, and meaning. Over time, this lifelong love for painting evolved into a deeply personal practice of expression, healing, and connection. In 2025, that passion transformed into her artistic identity through Noctulume Art, where she began creating works rooted in emotion, spirituality, and the unseen beauty of life.

For Sobia, every chapter of her life has been carried by gratitude. Through pain, uncertainty, and countless physical and emotional challenges, she has learned to see grace even in difficulty. Her journey through illness, motherhood, and survival has deepened her appreciation for life itself for every breath, every moment of strength, and every act of kindness she has received along the way. She believes her resilience is not her own doing, but a blessing, shaped by something far greater than herself.

Today, Sobia paints not only from emotion, but from a place of spiritual reflection and gratitude. Every canvas reflects patience, hope, faith, and the quiet light she finds even in the most difficult moments. Through Noctulume Art, she transforms pain into beauty and darkness into illumination , turning lived experience into visual expression and emotional healing. She often reflects that nothing in her life has been achieved alone; every step, every encounter, and every blessing has carried meaning and purpose beyond her understanding.

“It was Allah all along. My life has been shaped by gratitude. Even in the hardest moments, I have learned to see His mercy, His timing, and His protection in ways I never understood before. My art, my strength, and my peace are all gifts I continue to be thankful for every day.”
