Sohai Ali Abro’s hilarious antics in epic Rahul and Anjali recreation have fans in stitches
Pakistani actress Sohai Ali Abro has caught fans’ attention with a hilarious Bollywood-inspired video featuring actor Durrab Khalil. The playful recreation, expressive acting and comic timing of the duo have quickly become a talking point online.
In the video shared on social media, Sohai and Durrab recreate a comedy moment inspired by the characters Rahul and Anjali from the popular Bollywood film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Instead of trying to copy the original scene exactly, the actors add their own expressions and playful energy to the moment.
Sohai appears in a striking traditional red outfit, complete with a bridal-style look, while Durrab keeps things simple in casual clothes. The contrast between their appearances makes the scene even more amusing, while their exaggerated expressions add to the comedy.
Fans were quick to react to the clip, praising the actors for their timing and entertaining expressions. Many enjoyed seeing the two performers in a lighter setting away from the more serious moments associated with their television work.
Sohai then appeared in another social media clip that caught attention for a completely different reason. Wearing her traditional bridal look, she lip-synced to the classic song “Sajan Sajan Teri Dulhan,” showing off a more glamorous and feminine side.
The second video gave fans a chance to admire Sohai’s styling as well as her screen presence. Her traditional look, confident expressions and effortless charm prompted viewers to praise her appearance, with some fans even asking when they would see her return to the big screen.
The back-to-back videos have also given viewers another reason to enjoy Sohai and Durrab’s chemistry. The two actors currently appear together in HUM TV’s drama Sirf Shabana, where Sohai plays Shabana and Durrab plays her neighbour Bilal, also known as Bawla. The drama follows Shabana as she tries to build an identity of her own while dealing with family and personal struggles.
Durrab’s portrayal of Bawla has received appreciation from drama viewers, while Sohai has also been praised for her performance as Shabana. Dawn described Durrab’s character as a simple and sweet neighbour and highlighted Sohai’s nuanced performance in the series.
