A man in Gujranwala tying the knot for the second time without the first wife’s permission had to face lot of ‘embarrassment’ when his first wife arrived at the marriage hall along with her children and other family members, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.  

The moment the woman saw her husband named Amir, she flew into a rage, and soon brawl ensued between the bridegroom, his first wife and those accompanying her to the wedding hall.

Both sides openly punched and kicked each other in front of the people, forcing the police to intervene in order to calm down the situation. Police also took several persons into custody.  

The Force said that arrests had been made in order to prevent the situation from escalating further.
