ECP summons 12 political parties in prohibited funding

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday summoned 12 political parties on Dec 22 in connection with prohibited funding, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

The Election Commission has issued notices to the political parties at the request of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Aamir Kiyani.  

Notices have been issued to PPP, JUI, MQM, ANP, JWP, BNP, AML, PML-Q, JI, HDP, PMAP, and PTI. 

Interestingly, the ECP does not issue notice to the ruling party PML-N.
