A local court in Karachi Tuesday adjourned hearing on the bail plea of Dania Shah, third ex-wife of late Aamir Liaquat, till December 22 next, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Dania Shah had been arrested a few days ago in a case filed against her on the accusation of sharing an objectionable video of her husband on social media.

Dania Shah’s mother appeared before the court of a judicial magistrate along with the lawyer.

Judicial Magistrate Mukesh Kumar said to the lawyer Dania’s plea was fixed for hearing that day, for the cases of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) were heard on Thursday.

“It is because there is only one prosecutor of the FIA in the entire city court. Today, there is neither FIA prosecutor nor investigation officer in the court. [So] if you want to present your arguments, we are ready to hear,” he added.

The lawyer argued before the court that Dania Shah was jailed innocent and demanded that the court grant her bail.

The court, however, adjourned further hearing on the bail plea till December 22 next.
