Mohsin Naqvi, Hanif Abbasi vow to modernize Pakistan Railways

Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi held a detailed meeting with Railway Minister Hanif Abbasi in Islamabad on Saturday and discussed a variety of issues relating to the rail section, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Both federal ministers discussed issues related to Pakistan Railways and ongoing reforms in their meeting.

During the meeting, Hanif Abbasi gave a briefing on the revolutionary changes made in the railways during 2025.

The ministers also discussed the matters for improving the railway system and providing better facilities to passengers.

The ministers agreed on mutual cooperation on security, operational improvement and institutional reforms.

Mohsin Naqvi appreciated the reform initiatives in the railway sector.

Both ministers expressed their determination to develop Pakistan Railways on modern lines.
