Winter showers hit Chagai and surrounding Balochistan's areas

Light winter rainfall has begun in various parts of Balochistan, improving the weather conditions and bringing relief from dry spells.

According to local sources, winter rains were reported in Chagai, Taftan, Kachao, and Saindak, while several areas of the district experienced intermittent showers.

In Chagai district, rainfall was recorded in Nokundi and Barabcha, as well as in Dalbandin city and its surrounding areas.

The light rain has made the weather pleasant, while a noticeable drop in temperature has been observed across the region.

The rainfall has been welcomed by farmers and livestock owners, who expressed happiness as the showers are expected to benefit crops, grazing lands, and groundwater levels.

However, authorities have cautioned that there is a risk of water accumulation in low-lying areas, particularly if the rainfall intensifies.

 The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast the possibility of further winter rains in parts of Balochistan over the coming days.
