Six flights from different destinations landing at Lahore Airport within an hour put airport authorities in trouble handling the rush of the passengers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Flights including from Emirates, Qatar, Turkey, Island, Air Sial and private planes landed at Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA) one after another.
The foreign passengers face difficulties in immigration clearance and in getting luggage from the international arrival lounge.
Earlier on Friday, a number of flights at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal Airport were cancelled due to dense fog. As per details, visibility near the airport was recorded less than 50 meters after which an Airblue flight from Dubai to Lahore landed in Islamabad. Similarly, some other domestic flights were also cancelled and delayed.
