Police on Sunday arrested three accused involved in gang-rape of a 16-year-old schoolgirl in Sheikhupura, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Sheikhupura DPO Faisal Mukhtar said that an FIR has been lodged on the complaint of the victim's father.

The eighth-grader girl, the daughter of a labourer, was sexually assaulted by three persons in Kot Ranjeet.

The victim girl named Kashf was doing a job at a medical store to earn bread and butter for her family.

The accused called her and abducted her on gunpoint from her house and gang-raped her in a house located in Gharibabad.

As per the statement of the girl, two accused raped her while the third one kept guarding the house.

The third accused later also tried to rape the girl but he fled away when the victim resisted and shouted.

The accused also took pictures of the victim.
