CM Naqvi orders foolproof security in Lahore, Pindi during PSL matches

Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi Monday ordered the administration to provide foolproof security to scheduled matches of Pakistan Super League-8 (PSL-8) in Lahore and Rawalpindi. 
According to the 24News HD TV channel, a high-level follow-up meeting regarding PSL security arrangements was presided over by CM Naqvi in Lahore on Monday.
In the meeting, the security arrangements made for PSL matches in Lahore and Rawalpindi were reviewed.
CM Naqvi directed the administration to link Rawalpindi's cameras to Safe City Lahore like Multan. 
Mohsin Naqvi said 4-tier security must be established for the PSL matches and foolproof security arrangements like Multan should be made in Lahore and Rawalpindi.
He said the duration of traffic stoppage should be kept to a minimum while ensuring security on PSL routes and an effective publicity campaign should be conducted to keep the citizens regularly aware of the alternative routes during the transit of the teams.
In the meeting, the CM Punjab was briefed by the authorities that parking facilities will be provided for cricket fans at Gulbarg College in Lahore and a shuttle service will be run from the college to the stadium for disabled and elderly people.
Arrangements are being made to install whole root perlites and the entire route and stadium will be monitored with the help of 160 cameras in Rawalpindi.
Provincial ministers Dr Javed Akram, Mansoor Qadir, Ibrahim Murad, Bilal Afzal, Amir Mir, Inspector General Police, Additional Chief Secretary Interior, Additional IG CTD, Additional IG Special Branch, CCPO Lahore, MD Punjab Safe City Authority, Commissioner Lahore Division, DIG Operations Lahore, Chief Traffic Officer Lahore and other concerned officials attended the meeting.
Multan and Rawalpindi commissioners, RPOs, CPOs, Deputy Commissioners, and DPOs also joined the meeting through a video link.
