Terrorism provisions in PTV, Parliament attack case against Imran removed

In a major development, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) Monday removed the terrorism provisions in the Pakistan Television (PTV) and Parliament attack case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Imran Khan’s co-accused had filed a petition to remove the terrorism provisions.

The court sent both the cases against Imran Khan to the sessions court.

ATC judge Raja Jawad Abbas removed the terrorism provisions.

In 2014, cases of attack on PTV and Parliament had been registered during the PTI’s sit-in.
