Successful independents from PP-180 and PP-128 have joined the PML-N, according to a party statement.

Ahsan Raza Khan and Colonel (retd) Ghazanfar Qureshi met with Senior Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) and nominated Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

Maryam welcomed and congratulated bot Ahsan Raza Khan and Colonel (R) Ghazanfar Qureshi for joining PML-N.

The independent members said they decided to join PML-N after consulting with the people and supporters of the constituency.

Maryam said their support will bring the country back from destruction to development as she wanted to end chaos and lead Pakistan towards stability.

She said she has developed a comprehensive strategy for the development of Punjab and relief to the people and will carry forward the party tradition of development, construction and happiness of the people with a new spirit.
