Madhubala and Malika suffer from fatal disease at Karachi Safari Park

Bad news for children of Karachi who are keen on seeing elephants as after the death of Sonia the elephant, the lives of two other elephants are also in danger, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday. 

It has been revealed that Madhubala and Malika the elephant are suffering from a fatal disease in the safari park. 

According to sources, both the elephants are also suffering from the deadly disease of tuberculosis (TB).

After the sudden death of Sonia the elephant in the Safari Park, blood, urine and other laboratory tests were also taken from two other elephants for laboratory tests, sources said.

Sources said the International Wild Expert Four Paws Team, Sri Lankan experts and experts from the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore had taken samples from the elephants.

A detailed medical examination of the elephants was also conducted by the experts.

Sonia the elephant was found dead in her cage in the Safari Park two months ago.
