French president reveals name of his favourite Bollywood actor

French President Emmanuel Macron added a dash of Bollywood charm to his India visit, when he revealed that veteran star Anil Kapoor is his favourite actor from Hindi cinema.

The candid moment unfolded during a lighthearted rapid-fire interaction with Brut India near Mumbai’s iconic Gateway of India.

When asked to name his favourite Bollywood personality, Macron referenced his earlier mention of the song Jai Ho and responded that he would choose Anil Kapoor, a comment that instantly grabbed attention online.

Macron, accompanied by France’s First Lady Brigitte Macron, met several prominent names from India’s film and creative industries.
