Daughter of ex-pm reacts to journalist’s tweet 

Former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani’s daughter reacted to a senior journalist’s post on social media over her father’s operation in the US. 

Fiza tweeted: “My father was in the US for an official visit. He felt pain, got it checked & had to get his hernia operated. None of the family is with him. We are all in Pakistan as two days ago my mother got her spinal surgery (a much bigger procedure) done in Lahore."

She added: "If it was a planned procedure at least one of his children would have been with him. Kamran Khan needs to learn to verify his tweets if he wants to call himself a journalist.”

The senior journalist posted a picture of Gilani admitted to a US hospital and stressed key political figures prefer undergoing treatment abroad. He mentioned ex-PM Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif too.
