Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan accused Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif-led-government of “deliberately generating crisis” in Pakistan.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, former premier Imran Khan delivered a video address to the legal community at the “Rule of Law” convention here on Friday.
The former prime minister went on to say in the convention that the crisis was created on purpose, and that "it is not a natural disaster."
In his remarks at the ceremony, the former prime minister stated that Pakistan has never experienced a bigger economic crisis than the one it is currently experiencing.
He said no one economic expert can fill the gap of devaluation of the rupee except the investment of overseas Pakistanis in the country.
Imran Khan urged the legal community that there is a need for rule of law and justice in society because it is a Jihad and everyone should play their due role for the sake of the nation.
Imran Khan said his doubts have been removed and now he is very sure that three influential personalities were directly involved in the attack on him in the Wazirabad rally.
Discussing the issue of the 'Deep State', Imran Khan said there are existing more powerful people than the government in Pakistan and this was the reason that he failed to register his FIR despite having the government in the province of Punjab.
He also criticized Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif for trying to get the friendship of Indian PM Modi who is involved in the oppression of innocent people in occupied Kashmir.
"One guy chose to alter the [PTI] rule through a conspiracy," he claimed, without naming former army chief Gen Bajwa.
Imran Khan said today Pakistani government doesn't have money to open LCs and on the other hand, no country or institution is ready to lend to Pakistan.
The PTI chairman said if the conditions of the IMF are accepted, inflation will increase and the Pakistani currency will more depreciate.
He said all those who are sitting in power have failed and the country is heading toward the situation of Sri Lanka.
