Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) Monday announced matriculation 2020 results.

Two girls, Minahel Aman and Khansha Yaqub Malik, jointly topped the board result with 1096 marks, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

Minahel Aman of Army Public School and Model College's Khansha Yaqub Malik stood first in the annual examination of matric of FBISE.

Interestingly there are also two students who scored the second position in the board while there are 11 students who scored the third position in matric examinations results.

It is pertinent to note that this year no matric examinations has been held as Federal Ministry of Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mehmood has sent a letter to the secretary Federal Board stating that the Education Ministry has approved the promotion policy prepared by the Federal Board and Inter Board Committee of Chairmen.

In 2019, girls remained dominant and clinched top slots in Secondary School Certificates (SSC) Part-II exams. Overall 87,114 regular, private and ex-candidates appeared in the SSC (Part II) examinations 2019, out of which 73,203 passed the exams with the percentage of 84.03 per cent.
