Downpour damages data, drugs in government hospitals

Rainwater ruined records and medicines in public health facilities in Punjab and KP, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Tuesday. 

Rainwater gushed into the basement of the Services Hospital in Punjab's capital, damaging drugs and data of the public health facility. 

General Hospital, Lahore was also severely affected as rainwater entered its wards, corridors, and storerooms.

In Abbottabad, rainwater seeped into the wards and nurses hostels of Ayub Medical Complex Hospital, hampering health service and adding to the patient's woes.

On July  10, heavy rain broke 70-year-old record in Abbottabad.
