Supreme Court summons Imran Khan in Quetta’s lawyer murder case
The Supreme Court (SC) has summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in a personal capacity on Monday next for the hearing of a plea against his nomination in the case of the murder of a lawyer in Quetta, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
The court ordered the PTI chairman to appear at 10:30am on Monday.
Justice Yahya Afridi said that the petitioner would have to appear in court first. “This will be a proper procedure,” he added.
“I can call the PTI chairman now,” the PTI chairman’s lawyer Latif Khosa told the court.
“Are you saying he can appear today?” Justice Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi questioned.
“Not today. Bring him on Monday at 10:30am,” Justice Yahya Afridi said.
