Taskin shines as Bangladesh restrict Pakistan to 110 in first T20I

Pakistan were all out at 110 against Bangladesh in the first T20I being played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Dhaka on Sunday. 

Bangladesh captain Liton Das won the toss and opted to field first, a decision that paid immediate dividends.

Pakistan’s top order faltered early, with opening batter Saim Ayub dismissed in the second over after scoring just 6 runs off the bowling of Taskin Ahmed. 

This dismissal triggered a steady procession of wickets.

The scoreboard reflected Pakistan's struggles as they slumped to 46 for 5.

Mohammad Haris managed only 4 runs, skipper Salman Ali Agha was dismissed for 3, while Hassan Nawaz fell for a duck.

Another batter, also listed as Hassan Nawaz, scored just 3 before being sent back to the pavilion.

The only resistance came from Fakhar Zaman and Khushdil Shah, who stitched together a 24-run stand for the sixth wicket.

Fakhar played a valiant knock of 44 runs but was unfortunately run out, halting Pakistan’s attempt at a recovery.

Khushdil contributed 17 runs before falling, and the lower order offered little support.

Abbas Afridi’s 22-run cameo was the only other notable contribution, while Faheem Ashraf was dismissed for 5 and Salman Mirza was run out without scoring.

The innings came to an end on the third delivery of the final over, with the entire team dismissed for 110.
