Two more children crushed in Karachi by oil tanker

An oil tanker has crushed two children to death near Punjab Chowrangi in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday. 

According to police, both children who were hit by the tanker died on the spot. Rescue teams reached the site and shifted the bodies to nearby hospital for medico-legal procedure.  

The driver of the tanker escaped from the scene. 

In recent months, the incident of tanker related deaths have increased in Karachi. The civil society has urged the government to take all possible measure to curb such accidents.
