Pakistan, Iran discuss regional situation and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation
Pakistan's Ambassador to Iran Imran Ahmed Siddiqui met Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran, where they discussed regional developments and bilateral relations between the two countries.
According to diplomatic sources, the meeting focused on the latest regional situation and matters of mutual interest. Both sides reviewed the current state of Pakistan-Iran relations and exchanged views on further strengthening cooperation.
The ambassador and the Iranian foreign minister also discussed possibilities for expanding collaboration between the two countries in various fields.
The meeting comes as Pakistan and Iran continue efforts to enhance bilateral engagement through greater cooperation in trade, economy, security and regional affairs. Both countries have reiterated their commitment to maintaining close and constructive relations.
