Revival of flight operations to help overseas Pakistanis: PM

Prime Minister Imran Khan announced partially reopening the country’s airspace from Sunday for international flights to especially help the stranded overseas Pakistanis.
He said in a tweet that the overseas Pakistanis had suffered the most in the coronavirus pandemic but have shown great courage and “made us proud”.

The prime minister welcomed them back home and promised that the government would facilitate them in every way.
The prime minister also praised them for their generous and humanitarian character. “I appreciate the philanthropic role played by the Overseas Pakistani community in helping their brothers & [and] sisters abroad during Covid19.”

“There are many examples where the Pakistani community has been a source of inspiration, helping those around in need,” he added.
