The in-camera meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security will be convened on Tuesday (today) in which the top military leadership will give a briefing on issues relating to national security, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Murtaza Javed Abbasi on Monday had moved a motion in the National Assembly to allocate a House for the Parliamentary Committee on National Security which was approved.

The motion said that the meeting would be held the following day or any other day in the National Assembly Hall.

Murtaza Javed Abbasi said on the occasion that the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security would be held within the following three days, the time of which would be fixed shortly.

According to the informed sources, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Director-General Nadeem Anjum will give a briefing on national security issues in the in-camera meeting.
