Surge in Covid-19 as 171 cases of pandemic reported

The coronavirus is again beginning to raise its head in the country as the positivity rate of the pandemic has risen to 1.53 per cent, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

According to the National Institute of Health (NIH) as many as 171 cases of the virus were reported during the last 24 hours while the condition of 57 patients was stated to be critical; however, no loss of life was reported during the aforementioned period.
