PPP UC chairman gets colleague, accomplices booked in attempted murder case

A union council (UC) chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Tuesday got a case registered against his own party’s UC chairman and his accomplices in Hyderabad for orchestrating a murder attack on him, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

UC Chairman Guddu Marri got a first information report (FIR) registered against his party’s UC Chairman Zubair Siddiqui, alleging that the latter along with his accomplices orchestrated a murder attack on him.

Fort police registered a case against seven people on the complaint of Zubair Siddiqui.

It was learnt that a quarrel took place among Jiyalas during the celebration of the election of the party’s mayor following which Guddu Marri got a case registered against Zubair Siddiqui and accomplices.

Guddu Marri maintained in his complaint that Zubair Siddiqui along with his accomplices had pulled out a pistol at Haider Chowk and fired at him.

“Not only this, but Zubair Siddiqui also tried to spoil the programme for celebrating the election of the PPP candidate as mayor,” he added.
