Veteran actress Ayesha Khan found dead in Karachi flat

In a deeply tragic and shocking turn, veteran Pakistani actress Ayesha Khan was found dead in her flat in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 7, Karachi, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday.

According to police, her body was discovered almost a week after her death, raising concerns over her isolation and health. She had been living alone for several years and had remained away from the limelight.

The deceased was 76 years old and the elder sister of legendary TV actress Khalida Riyasat. She was born on November 22, 1948.

Her body has been shifted to Jinnah Hospital for further examination. Police have begun questioning neighbours and relatives as part of the investigation.
