Indian star Sargun Mehta’s Pakistani drama obsession wins hearts instantly
Indian actress Sargun Mehta has won hearts online after openly expressing her admiration for Pakistani dramas and actors during an interview.
The interview gained attention after being shared by journalist Murtaza Ali Shah, with fans on both sides of the border praising Sargun’s candid and heartfelt comments about the Pakistani entertainment industry.
During the conversation, Sargun revealed that she regularly watches Pakistani dramas and is a longtime fan of many of the country’s actors.
Speaking in a mix of Punjabi and English, the actress said, “Main aap kay saray shows dekhti hoon, mera toh khayal hai kay shayad aapsay zyada dekhay hon gay,” which translates to, “I watch all your shows. I think I might have watched more than you guys.”
Laughing, she went on to mention several Pakistani stars she admires, including Humayun Saeed, Bilal Abbas Khan, Hania Aamir and Mahira Khan. She added, “Main toh list nikal kay aapko day sakti hoon. I really enjoy Pakistani dramas.”
This is not the first time Sargun has spoken positively about Pakistani television. In previous interviews, she has praised popular dramas such as Mere Paas Tum Ho and Raqeeb Se, appreciating their storytelling and writing.
Her latest comments were warmly received by fans, who flooded social media with messages of appreciation.
