While hearing the plea of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to provide details of the cases filed against him, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) Monday sought the record of all the cases registered in Islamabad and also issued notices to the respondents asking them to submit replies by March 27 next, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

“My entry into the judicial complex was closed, so I came to you. There is no place other than this court in Islamabad,” lawyer for Imran Khan Faisal Chaudhry told IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq.

“Nothing fruitful happened on Saturday either. If I make a mistake and you too, what will be the difference?” the IHC chief justice said.

“We have no other place except the courts. 47 cases have been filed against Imran Khan in Islamabad. Police have kept some FIRs confidential,” he added.

“Perhaps you do not know that the FIR is not sealed. The court should seek the details of all the cases registered within Islamabad,” Faisal Chaudhry pleaded.

“I issue notice up to the boundaries of my jurisdiction. Have you read the judgement of Azam Swati case? There is no law that the case registration against a person should be told,” the IHC chief justice remarked.

“We will be able to take the legal course if we are told,” Faisal Chaudhry pointed out.
