Met Office predicts 4-day spell of heavy rains from Tuesday

From Tuesday to Friday, the Pakistan Meteorological Department predicts another spell of heavy rain in Punjab, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan, Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan.

The department said a powerful westerly wave is expected to approach Pakistan on Tuesday and grip most of the country till Wednesday.

During the expected period, heavy rains may trigger landslides in hilly areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Murree, and Galiyat.

The Met Department has warns travellers to exercise caution during the new rains spell.
