PM Shehbaz calls PDM meeting today to hammer out future strategy

In the wake of worsening political situation in the country, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has summoned an urgent meeting of the coalition partners in the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) government today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

The PDM huddle has been convened at 2pm today at Prime Minister House in Islamabad. 

The allied parties’ leaders will deliberate on the future course of action during the meeting. 

The coalition partners will also present their suggestions on law and order situation in the country and elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces

The prime minister summoned the huddle after his meeting with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz in Lahore.

The duo discussed a host of issues including their strategy towards the PTI, relief to citizens during Ramazan, and political and economic crises. 

According to reports, PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif will also participate in today’s PDM huddle via video link.
