Federal govt transfers Joint Secretary Laiq Ahmad 

The federal government on Tuesday notified transfer and posting of Joint Secretary Laiq Ahmad with immediate effect, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to a notification issued by Establishment Division, Joint Secretary Power Division Laiq Ahmad is transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, National Health Department. He is transferred vide Section 10 of Civil Servants Act 1973.

Earlier on May 7, 2025, the federal government approved high-level transfers and postings in the bureaucracy.

According to a notification issued by the Establishment Division, Amjad Ahmad currently serving as Joint Secretary Industries and Production Division is transferred and posted as Director-General National Internship Programme.

Additional charge assigned to Ms Ambreen Jan as Managing Director of Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV) also extended for three months.

The extension period will start from May 5, 2025.
