Interior Minister Naqvi felicitates General Asim Munir on promotion

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has congratulated General Syed Asim Munir on his promotion to the rank of Field Marshal, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel. 

In his special message, Interior Minister Naqvi expressed best wishes for Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir. He said Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir has achieved this position through hard work, talent and professional skills. 

Naqvi said after the glorious victory in the Battle of Haq, General Syed Asim Munir was rightfully promoted to the rank of Field Marshal. He said under the leadership of General Syed Asim Munir, the armed forces faught the enemy a befitting lesson.

The nation stood by the side of the armed forces as a leaden wall against the enemy, and the credit for this goes to General Syed Asim Munir. Interior Minister said the courage, bravery, prudence, wisdom and knowledge that General Syed Asim Munir demonstrated was unparalleled in history. Mohsin Naqvi hoped that under the leadership of General Asim Munir, Pakistan Army will touch new height of glory.

Meanwhile, AJK Prime Minister has also congratulated General Asim Munir for his promotion on high rank. In his special message, the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir said the federal government's decision to promote General Asim Munir to the rank of Field Marshal is a wise decision. 

He said Pakistan Army won the battle of Haq under the leadership of Field Marshal General Asim Munir. AJK Prime Minister Ch Anwarul Haq said Field Marshal General Asim Munir's commitment to the Kashmir freedom movement was eternal who destroyed India's pride. 

Ch Anwarul Haq said Field Marshal General Asim Munir truly deserves this promotion who is committed to Kashmir cause.
