Punjab Minister Azma Bukhari brands Senator Faisal Vawda as ‘cheap Shah Rukh Khan’
Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari has come down hard on Senator Faisal Vawda, labelling him a ‘mentally-ill person’ and a ‘cheap Shah Rukh Khan’.
During a media briefing in Lahore, the PML-N minister said, “People like him deserve pity and should not be responded.”
She said Faisal Vawda was trying to keep himself in the limelight by making ridiculous statements and mimicking the famous Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan.
“Although he is currently a senator, he has no political party. I do not wish to comment further on his statements.”
This comes after Faisal Vawda criticised the Punjab government during a talk show the other day.
He alleged that the government was appointing unqualified people to key posts, including ministries.
He also claimed that the government’s spokespersons and ministers managing social media platforms like TikTok were uneducated.
