Student abandons exam to rush heart attack victim friend to hospital in China

In a moving act of loyalty and humanity in China, a student chose to abandon his ongoing examination to rush his friend, who was suffering a heart attack, to the hospital, ultimately saving his life, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

The incident has touched many across the country and sparked praise for the selflessness displayed by the young.

According to reports, the incident occurred in a car when two students were going to take part in an examination. All of a sudden, a student began experiencing intense chest pain and showed symptoms consistent with a heart attack.

His close friend immediately sprang into action and started cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Without waiting for formal assistance or considering the consequences of leaving his exam, he carried his ailing friend to a nearby hospital.

Medical personnel later confirmed that the student's quick action played a critical role in saving the patient’s life, as any delay could have been fatal. The student's heart was restored after 30 minutes of pause by the doctors through CPR.

The student’s decision to prioritize life over academics is being hailed as an example of courage, empathy, and genuine friendship.

Educators, social media users, and members of the public have lauded the student’s actions, with many calling for official recognition of his bravery.
