Intermediate exams in Lahore started

Intermediate examinations under the auspices of the Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE Lahore) started, reported 24News HD TV Channel on Wednesday.
On the first day of sociology, an outline of home economics and applied sciences was held. 
As many as 192,000 candidates are appearing in the intermediate part-II examinations for which 566 examination centres were established.
54 examination centres were declared sensitive. The Punjab government has already imposed Section 144 in all the examination halls to stop cheating.
Eid holidays will be observed from May 26 to 31. The last paper of Pakistan Studies will be held on June 12, 2026.
The Part-I papers of intermediate examinations will start from July 8, 2026. The practical examinations of Part-II will be held from July 10 to August 18, 2026.
