Despite having a majority in Senate, the opposition could not veto the government legislations thanks to the trickery of the Dilawar Khan group, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Sources informed on Saturday that it was the second time that the Dilawar group deceived the opposition compelling the Pakistan Democratic Movement to make a demand of the Pakistan People’s Party to get rid of the Dilawar Khan group.

Reportedly, six senators of the Dilawar group voted in favour of the government-sponsored bills during the joint session of parliament despite the fact that they belonged to the opposition.

The PDM is of the view that since the alliance has accepted PPP leader Yousaf Raza Gillani as opposition leader in the Upper House, then what ails the group?

The Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Fazl) showed their resentment over the Dilawar group.

The PML-N held that six senators were with the government from the start.

Opposition sources have divulged that the opposition parties have decided to seek an explanation from the renegade group. Opposition believe that the Dilawar group will part its ways from it after giving explanation regarding lending its support for the government bills
