A video showing upper-caste Hindus’ extremism has gone viral on social media platforms, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

The clip shows Hindu upper-caste extremists emptying a water tank in Heggotara village of Karnataka because a woman from the Lower caste drank from it. They washed it with cow urine which they sacredly refer to as “Gomutra”.  

Hindu extremists feel so empowered in India to do such demos and even film the incidents. They have a history of subjecting low lower-caste and underprivileged people, especially Muslims, to mob justice on flimsy suspicions.
