Islamabad Police chalk out plan for English cricket team’s security

Islamabad Capital Police on Sunday chalked out a foolproof-security plan for the tour of the English cricket team, reported 24News HD TV channel.
According to the details, Islamabad capital police Inspector General Dr Akbar Nasir Khan presided over the high-level security meeting and made a strategy to provide security to the guest team.
As per the plan, during the transit of the cricket teams, the route will be monitored through advanced technology and drone cameras.
Around 1,200 policemen will perform security duties while the Capital Police Officer (CPO) Security Division will lead all security arrangements.
The foolproof security will be ensured in full coordination with law enforcement agencies and Islamabad Capital Police will take all possible measures to maintain the country's dignity.
A Chief Security Officer will be appointed for the cricket team while search operations will be conducted across the district before the visiting cricket team to Islamabad.
The Special Branch will ensure that the information is collected and passed on to the concerned authorities.
