Woman who fell prey to acid attack by husband dies in Karachi

A woman who fell prey to the acid attack by her husband in Panu Aqil succumbed to her burn wounds in Karachi on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Reportedly, a brutal man threw acid on his wife Farzana Mirani (35) and their 8-year-old daughter Yusra Mirani a month ago. The body of little girl was badly burnt and she died in the Gambat Hospital one month ago. But her mother Farzana survived, though she too was wounded badly. 

She was moved to a Karachi hospital for medical treatment.

Today, her condition deteriorated and she breathed her last in the hospital.

Though police have registered a case against the accused, but they have failed to arrest her husband after the lapse of one month. 

A month earlier, Farzana’s husband, father-in-law and other accused threw acid on the sleeping mother and daughter on a property row in Panu Aqil.
