PML-N candidate brings lion in election rally in DG Khan, gets Wildlife Dept notice

As election campaign for by-election in Dera Ghazi Khan reached climax, PML-N candidate for NA 185 attended the election rally with lion, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.

According to details, a real lion was brought on stage at the night rally by PML-N candidate. The participants of the rally were surprised to see the lion thought some PML-N workers were excited. 

According to the administration, the purpose of bringing the lion was to remind the people of the election symbol of ‘lion’. 

After videos of DG Khan rally went viral on social media, the Wildlife Department has taken notice of the video and has decided to take action against PML-N candidate. The Wildlife Department said use of animals in election campaign has been prohibited. 

DG Khan Wildlife Department said bringing wild animals into urban areas was a crime.
