Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan (JI) has announced to hold sit-ins at different places in the port city of Karachi on Thursday.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, JI Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman will lead the main rally that will be taken out from Malir Black Board and the main sit-in will be held at Star Gate after sunset.

Sit-ins will also be held at different places including Hassan Square, New Karachi, Nala Stop, Power House Chowrangi, Panch Number Chowrangi, Orangi Town, Banaras Chowk, Clifton, Teen Talwar, Muhammad Ali Society, DC Office Malir, Sat Number Nazimabad, and Lines area.

JI Chief Siraj ul Haq on Thursday addressed the party rally at Kandhkot and said 18,000 schools in Sindh have been destroyed in floods.

He added that after the coronavirus epidemic, Sindh was devastated by floods and education and health were badly affected but the parliamentarians of Sindh province have hidden the flood aid-related goods coming from abroad.
