In shocking details, Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police ate Rs2.7m meals during the brief stay of New Zealand team eight days stay in Islamabad Serena Hotel, reported 24NewHD TV channel quoting sources. 

Sources said that New Zealand team that abandoned their tour at eleventh hour stayed eight days in the Islamabad Serena Hotel.

Over 500 policemen of ICT police were deployed for the security of the New Zealand team including five SPs and SSPs who were leading the security team. 

Sources claimed that police personnel were served twice a day meal—biryani—and the finance division has not cleared the bill yet.

Sources familiar with the development claimed that the Rs2.7 million bill has not included the food bill of Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel.
